Additionally, many schools now send transcripts electronically. The Graduate College accepts electronic transcripts sent directly by the school as official transcripts. These documents can be sent to grad.admissions@uc.edu.
Transcript Submission for Admission: If offered program admission, the University of Cincinnati requires submission of official transcripts from all students for all colleges and universities attended. These must be official, therefore copies cannot replace official records from higher educational institutions attended. They must be provided by the end of your first term or you will be denied registration until they are received.

Please note: Admission and funding decisions are made at the committee level. All students spend their first year interacting with various faculty members to ensure a broad exposure to our research areas. Students will officially select a research advisor by the end of their first year. Because decisions are centralized, contacting individual faculty members prior to admission is discouraged and does not increase your chance of admission and funding opportunities.
Applicants recommended for admission may be interviewed before a final decision is made. If desired, we can help arrange a campus visit to meet faculty and explore our facilities, though travel expenses are the responsibility of the applicant.
