Dr. Marko Hyttinen from Finland visited the UC-ERC and presented the ERDC Spring seminar “Working conditions and risk assessment of cleaning.” Dr. Hyttinen is a scientist in the Research Group for Indoor Environment and Occupational Health in the Department of Environmental Health and Biological Sciences at the University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, Finland. Dr. Hyttinen specializes in indoor air pollution (VVOC/VOC/SVOC/PM), analytical chemistry, and risk assessment of indoor air and occupational hygiene. He is currently leading a research project that investigates exposures of custodial workers to cleaning agents.
