Our project was focused on the problem of lead contamination in the built environment. Due to the age of Cincinnati, a large portion of the older buildings contain lead paint. Unfortunately, lower SES citizens are disproportionately affected by lead contamination due to the lower cost of older buildings and increased cost associated with removal of lead contamination.
