The Office of Faculty Affairs & Development have created new development programming for our faculty in the areas of professional development, research development, teaching and education development, and wellness. JANUARY 6, 2026 Mitigating Imposter Syndrome

Description: Imposter syndrome is a common and often unspoken challenge for many people working in academic medicine—whether they teach, provide care, conduct research, or support operations. This presentation will explore the roots and impact of imposter syndrome on performance, relationships, and well-being.

Participants will learn to:

  1. Learn what imposter syndrome is and why it shows up in high-pressure environments
  2. Recognize its impact on confidence, collaboration, and well-being
  3. Practice simple, practical strategies to manage imposter feelings and build self-assurance
JANUARY 7, 2026 The Power of Habit: Start the New Year Strong

Description: Habits are things we do every day, often without realizing we’re doing them. This session will help you to walk through simple steps to understand how to break less healthy habits and create new habits that will help you live your best life.

Participants will learn to:

  1. Identify well-being related intentions, aspirations and habits for the first 90 days of the year
  2. Determine actions best suited for you and your goals and challenges
  3. Share resources related to wellness goal setting
