Curriculum

The Biomedical Informatics Graduate Certificate curriculum consists of seven courses for a total of 19 credit hours. This includes four core courses, a one-credit hour seminar, and two electives.

The curriculum will train students in both quantitative and biomedical programs to develop and apply computational methods addressing current problems in biomedicine and to design/implement clinical informatics systems. The program is also designed to enable training of clinicians and health care professionals who are interested in the integration of electronic health record (EHR) and related systems with clinical practice and research.
