Pediatric Oncology Research Program

The Pediatric Oncology Research Program features our Cancer Center's expertise in this field through our partnership with Cincinnati Children’s and our dedication to addressing the unique challenges and advancing treatments for childhood cancers. This program will unite researchers to focus specifically on the biological, clinical, and translational aspects of pediatric cancers, fostering innovative discoveries and enhancing outcomes for our youngest patients.

Program Aims

  • Define molecular and developmental mechanisms underlying pediatric cancer initiation and therapy response.
  • Advance precision and immune-based therapies for pediatric hematologic and solid tumors.
  • Develop strategies to prevent detrimental late-effects of pedibiologyatric cancer therapy through informed interventions and care models.
