Mission
The College of Medicine and NIH sponsors (through a mentored medical student research program) a program for students after the 1st year of medical school. The program is designed to expose students to the methods and techniques
utilized in biomedical research. The long term goal is to encourage medical students and young physicians to pursue careers in biomedical research.
