The University of Cincinnati and UC Health have launched the UC/UC Health Addiction Center (UCAC), a multidisciplinary initiative designed to unite our research, clinical, and educational expertise to improve addiction outcomes across the Greater Cincinnati region.

The UCAC will receive an investment of around $2 million over the next five years from UCCoM and UC Health. UCAC will combine 30 faculty members over 12 departments and 5 UC colleges in a collaborative effort to treat addiction, one of the area's most prevalent public health challenges. Their focus will be on research innovation, enhanced clinical services, and education.
