Through collaborative efforts with the Gaskins Foundation, STEMulates offers opportunities for young learners interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Through various STEMulation programs, students learn new skills and receive support in a safe and nurturing environment. The goal of the STEMulates programs is to increase student participation in STEM activities through hands-on challenge-based learning experiences.
The Gaskins Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides under-recognized and under-represented youth an opportunity to become leaders in STEM and pursue careers as engineers and scientists in the Greater Cincinnati area. The program was founded by Dr. Whitney B. Gaskins, a professor of Biomedical Engineering and Engineering Education at the University of Cincinnati.
