Program Summary

The Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative (GCSC) is a nonprofit that prepares students for future careers and educational pathways in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. GCSC focuses its time and financial resources on serving under-represented students in STEM. Programming occurs throughout the Tri-State through afterschool clubs, Girls in STEM day, Demonstration Projects, and STEM Community Convenings. The goal of the program is to meet the accelerating demand for STEM jobs in our three-state region by preparing learners for future success through STEM activities. Participants build skills and grow confidence. Collaborators include the University of Cincinnati College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH), the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN), 1819 Innovation Hub, NKU CINSAM, Ohio Academy of Science, MakerUSA, Believe in Ohio, Advanced Manufacturing Industry Partnership, Makers and Mentors Network and the Center for Public Engagement with Science.
