The Summer Surgery Experience

(SSE@UC) is a 10 day intensive

experience for college students to learn

more about surgery through lectures,

observation, and hands-on experiences.

 

This is a great experience for any pre-

medical student interested in learning more about surgery and medicine in general. SSE students are given special access to areas rarely visited by undergraduates.

 

GOALS

· To teach college students what surgeons do...the types of diseases they treat, and the types of procedures they perform.

· To have students experience what goes on in the operating room.

· To expose students to new innovative technical developments in surgery.
