Application for a Residency Position in Ophthalmology

Applications for an ophthalmology residency position at the University of Cincinnati must be filed with the Central Application Service of the Ophthalmology Residency Matching Program, during the summer two years prior to the desired start date. The deadline for submission to our prgram is October 15.. Applications are evaluated on the basis of overall academic record, USMLE scores, and letters of recommendation. Applicants judged to be potentially suitable candidates are invited for a personal interview with the Resident Selection Committee, a tour of the Departmental facilities, and an opportunity to meet with current residents of the program. All positions are filled in accordance with the published rules and regulations of the Ophthalmology Residency Matching Program.
