A Message From Andrew T. Filak Jr., M.D. Senior Associate Dean
To all Prospective, Current and Future Incoming Residents:
Welcome to Graduate Medical Education at the University Hospital/University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where we sponsor more than 50 ACGME accredited residency and fellowship programs along with many other specialty training programs.
You will find our GME Website contains all information relative to your interest and questions about our residency and fellowship programs. Here at UH/UCCOM our primary mission is to provide a stimulating learning environment combined with our extensive primary and tertiary care facilities which will offer a full range of patient care activities. Trainees encounter a diverse population within inpatient and outpatient sites around Cincinnati that make up our learning environment.
The Graduate Medical Education Office advocates for you – our residents and fellows – monitoring and providing support for activities within the medical education programs under the guidelines of the ACGME and the UH/UCCOM policies. We also challenge ourselves to meet your expectations for high quality learning experiences by providing the necessary foundation to maximize your career potential and fulfill your personal and professional goals in a supportive environment.
