The UC Radiology GE 3.0T Signa EXCITE 16 Channel High-Definition Whole-Body MR System, located in the University of Cincinnati Medical Sciences Building (MSB), is a shared clinical and research resource.
Research Applications
The UC Radiology GE 3.0T Signa EXCITE 16 Channel High-Definition Whole-Body MR System can also be utilized for imaging on healthy volunteers and patients for research studies, basic science experiments, and pulse sequence development.
The 3T MRI is equipped with a variety of imaging coils and a Spectris Solaris MR Injector System (external link) (Medrad, Inc., Indianola, PA) is available. The injector is fully programmable to provide precise dose delivery of contrast agents and saline from two separate syringes.
