Dr. Verma attended The University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating in 1992. She then completed an internship year in Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her Radiology Residency at our University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1998 with one year dedicated to the Health Services and Outcomes Research Fellowship supervised by Hugh Hawkins, MD. Dr. Verma then moved on to Johns Hopkins Medical Center for her Radiology Fellowship in Body-Imaging and Mammography.
Dr. Verma is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at University Hospital serving in our body-imaging section and mammography. She also has a number of publications and presentations. Dr. Verma contributes greatly to our medical student education and won the Benjamin Felson Excellence in Medical Student Education Teaching Award for 1995-1996.
