 Dr. Spitz completed his residency in 1962. He joined the faculty of the University of Cincinnati Department of Radiology after completing a cardiac fellowship in 1963.
He was the Residency Director at the University of Cincinnati from 1986 to
1996. He retired from the full time practice of radiology in 1997.
He is now an Emeritus Professor of Radiology, working two days per week. His main task is education of medical students and residents. He continues his interest in general radiology, especially cardiac radiology.
