1963: College of Medicine Founded.

1974: The Department of Radiology is based at The University Hospital, a member of the Health Alliance of Cincinnati.

1985: The University Hospital is a full-service academic health center, a major provider of primary care services to the local population,

1985: Regional tertiary-care referral center, and the primary teaching hospital for the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

2002: The Department of Radiology prides itself in fulfilling the full mission of academic radiology departments - excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

2008: Departmental history is rich, having been founded, led, and nurtured by such luminaries as Dr. Benjamin Felson, Dr. Jerome Wiot, and Dr. Robert Lukin, the current Chair.
