
Cris Meyer is an Associate Professor of Radiology at
the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. After earning a B.S. in
Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, Dr. Meyer attended
medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He then completed
his residency in radiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington
D.C. His academic honors include membership in Alpha Omega Alpha and Tau
Beta Pi, the medical and engineering honor societies.
Dr. Meyer is a member of Radiological Society of North
America, the American Roentgen Ray Society,the Society of Thoracic
Radiology, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the North
American Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. He reviews for the Radiology,
American Journal of Roentgenology and Radiographics and serves
as imaging section editor for Infectious Disease in Clinical Practice
and Innovations: Technology and Techniques in Cardiothoracic and Vascular
Surgery.. Dr. Meyer is the author or coauthor of over 50 published
articles, book chapters and abstracts in radiology. Areas of subspecialty
interest include: imaging guided chest interventional procedures, HRCT,
pneumoconiosis and MDCT in advanced thoracic and cardiac applications.
