How to Find Us
Our main clinical and academic offices are located in the Barrett Cancer Center on the medical campus of the University of Cincinnati. Parking for patients undergoing radiotherapy is located immediately adjacent to the Barrett Center. Patient evaluation and treatment is also conducted at several area hospitals including Children's Hospital Medical Center, The Christ Hospital, Jewish Hospital, Bethesda Hospital, Good Samaratin Hospital, The Veteran's Administration Hospital, and St. Luke's Hospital.
Several options are available for accomodations for out-of-town patients. The Holmes-on-Eden provides housing on the medical campus for patients and their families at very reasonable rates, with shuttle service to the Barrett Cancer Center. Arrangements can be made by contacting them at 800/278-7751 or 513/558-7751. The Vernon Manor (513/281-3300) is located a few blocks from the University and also provides scheduled shuttle service. The Ronald MacDonald House (513/221-7777) provides housing for children with cancer and their families. For special needs and arrangements, E-mail us, or call us at 513/558-4775.
Street Directions
I-75 North/South
Exit at the Hopple Street interchange. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left. At the first stoplight, travel through the intersection and continue up the hill. This road is Martin Luther King Drive. Continue on Martin Luther King, driving past the west campus of the University of Cincinnati, until you reach the medical center area.
I-71 South
Exit at William Howard Taft Road. Follow Taft to Highland Avenue (fourth stoplight). Turn right and continue on Highland Avenue.
I-71 North
Exit at Reading Road. Travel north on Reading to Martin Luther King Drive (seventh stoplight). Turn left onto Martin Luther King, and continue on King for several blocks until you reach the medical center area
I-471 North
After crossing the river, take the Liberty Street exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Reading Road. Follow Reading to Martin Luther King Drive (ninth stoplight). Turn left onto Martin Luther King, and continue on King for several blocks until you reach the medical center area.
Traveling by Metro Bus
The following buses will bring you to the hospital and Medical Center: #46 Vine/Burnet-Avon View; #49 Mt. Adams-Zoo; #51 Clifton-Hyde Park. For information, call Metro at (513)621-4455
