Without an enthusiastic group of students dedicated to becoming physician-scientists, there would be no reason for any institution to offer a combined M.D./Ph.D. program. The PSTP realizes the importance of its students and puts them first, both on this page and in our program philosophy.

Program Faculty

A second key ingredient to the PSTP are the faculty dedicated to training the physician-scientists of the future. Faculty interested in working with the PSTP are selected based on their own skills as scientists, physicians, and mentors as well as their enthusiasm for working with PSTP students. The program faculty for the PSTP are among the finest of the outstanding faculty at the University of Cincinnati.

The PSTP recruits outstanding students. At the University of Cincinnati, these students have many opportunities to excel. Students of the PSTP are often honored with recognition and awards from the faculty and our peers. As a program, we all celebrate in the accomplishments of our students.
