The PSTP interview process is coordinated with interviews for the medical school during a three day period from Thursday through Friday.
Formal MD Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) interviews take place on Thursday afternoon.
Friday morning the program begins with a Welcome and Introduction with the Program Director followed by a presentation by the Associate Director on “What it means to be MD/PhD”. Next is an overview of the University Graduate Programs from 4 current Program Directors or members of the PSTP Training Faculty. The MD/PhD interviews take place on Friday afternoon with members of the PSTP Executive Committee; there is also a planned lunch presentation journal club with current PSTP students and a tour of the Hospital and Research Facilities. Interviewees are then invited to socialize and enjoying Cincinnati on Friday evening with the current MD/PhD students.
Saturday begins with a presentation of the Medical School Curriculum from the Associate Dean for Medical School Admissions followed by Brunch and students interviews with the current students. The weekend is capped off with a relaxing informal dinner with PSTP Students and Program Faculty.
