Fluxes & Barriers


Fluxes & Barriers is held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month (except *), 12 noon – 1 pm, in the Lamport Library, MSB 4104. Lunch is provided. Fluxes & Barriers brings together UC and Cincinnati Children's Hospital researchers and students with a common interest in membrane transport, epithelial physiology, and human disease. With an emphasis on constructive feedback, several types of presentations are encouraged:
  • Concepts, hypotheses, and research plans
  • Work-in-progress
  • Research seminars
  • Literature reviews
The 2009 series of Fluxes & Barriers is sponsored by the Digestive Health Center and the Department of Molecular & Cellular Physiology.
