Cincinnati Shriner's Hospital |
The Shriner's Hospital in Cincinnati is a 30-bed pediatric burn hospital providing comprehensive acute care and reconstructive rehabilitative care to children who have been burned. There is no charge to the patient or family for any of the medical care or services provided by Shriner's Hospitals. This hospital is one of 22 Shriner's Hospitals throughout North America.

Veterans Affairs Medical Center |
The Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center comprises of a 248-bed hospital located within the University of Cincinnati Medical Complex, plus a 131-bed nursing home and a 60-bed domiciliary, both located in nearby Fort Thomas, Kentucky and a Vet Center.

Hoxworth Blood Center |
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati Medical Center, is the community blood center for the greater Cincinnati area. Serving a 14-county area in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Hoxworth collects, tests, processes and distributes blood and blood components to 24 hospitals.
The Blood Center's purpose is to enhance the well-being of patients in our service area by assuring a reliable and economical supply of the safest possible blood. To help us meet this goal, Hoxworth is governed by the University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees. Hoxworth also has its own community advisory board, a medical advisory committee and an executive committee. Hoxworth is licensed and regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks. Hoxworth is also a member of America's Blood Centers.
