Research - Current Clinical Trials

Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility

Contraceptive Gel Study
This study compares the safety and contraceptive effectiveness of an investigational spermicide with a currently available spermicide.

Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine

Trisomy 21 Study
This study will assess the agreement between an amniocentesis and a blood test to identify trisomy 21 in a fetus.

Division of Gynecology Oncology

GOG 0212
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying paclitaxel to see how well it works compared to polyglutamate paclitaxel or observation only in treating patients with stage 3 or stage 4 ovarian epithelial or peritoneal cancer or fallopian tube cancer.

GOG 0213
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying giving carboplatin and paclitaxel together with or without bevacizumab after surgery to see how well it works in treating patients with recurrent ovarian epithelial cancer, primary peritoneal cavity cancer or fallopian tube cancer.

GOG 0221
This clinical trial is studying glycoprotein and glycan in patients with stage 1B, stage 2, stage 3, or stage 4A cervical cancer undergoing surgery to remove pelvic and abdominal lymph nodes.

GOG 0233
This phase 1/2 trial is studying how well fludeoxyglucose F 18 PET scan, CT scan, and ferumoxtran-10 MRI scan finds lymph node metastasis before undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy in patients with locally advanced cervical cancer or high-risk endometrial cancer.

GOG 0238
This randomized phase 2 trial is studying radiation therapy and cisplatin to see how well they work compared with radiation therapy alone in treating patients with recurrent endometrial cancer.

GOG 0249
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying pelvic radiation therapy to see how well it works compared with vaginal implant radiation therapy, paclitaxel, and carboplatin in treating patients with high-risk stage 1 or stage 2 endometrial cancer.

GOG 0250
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying gemcitabine hydrochloride, docetaxel and bevacizumab to see how well they work compared with gemcitabine hydrochloride, docetaxel and a placebo in treating patients with advanced or recurrent uterine leiomyosarcoma.

GOG 0258
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying carboplatin and paclitaxel to see how well they work when given with or without cisplatin and radiation therapy in treating patients with stage 1, stage 2, stage 3 or stage 4A endometrial cancer.

GOG 0261
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying giving paclitaxel together with carboplatin to see how well it works compared with giving paclitaxel together with ifosfamide in treating patients with newly diagnosed persistent or recurrent uterine or ovarian cancer.

GOG 0263
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying giving radiation therapy together with chemotherapy to see how well it works compared to radiation therapy alone in treating patients with stage 1 or stage 2 cervical cancer who previously underwent surgery.

GOG 0724
This randomized phase 3 trial is studying chemotherapy and pelvic radiation therapy to see how well they work when given with or without additional chemotherapy in treating patients with high-risk early-stage cervical cancer after radical hysterectomy.

PROCEED Ovarian Cancer Study
The purpose of this study is to compare progression-free survival (PFS) (based upon investigator assessment using RECIST v1.1) in participants with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer who receive combination therapy with EC145 and pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (EC145+PLD) with that in participants who receive PLD and placebo.
