Gynecologic Oncology Group

The Division of Gynecologic Oncology participates in multi-center trials of treatments for gynecologic malignancies through the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG), a national scientific organization funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The Division has been a major contributor of clinical research to the GOG. All patients with gynecologic malignancies are evaluated at the time of diagnosis to determine their eligibility for entry in one of our many active protocols. Currently, we have two affiliate institutions, Wright State University (Miami Valley Hospital) in Dayton, Ohio and Norton Health Care (Louisville Oncology, Inc.) in Louisville, Kentucky.
