Grants Office

The Office of Grants Management serves all aspects of the intra- and extra-mural funding process ranging from grant applications and pre-award processes through to post-award processes and financial administration. The office administers both grants and contracts from various funding sources, such as, Federal (National Institutes of Health), State, charitable organizations, internal sources as well as private corporate funds. Although grant applications are primarily the responsibility of the individual investigators, assistance is offered with completion of application forms, and completion of all necessary regulatory steps. In the post-award period, the office provides monthly financial statements to the investigators and assists with annual reports. In addition to grant administration, the office manages and maintains records assuring compliance with all applications and matters relating to the Institutional Review Board, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, Radiation Safety and Occupational Safety and Health.
