Research

About the Program

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has a very active research program which supports the Divisions of Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal and Fetal Medicine, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

This division provides the infrastructure to support the research goals of the department. In 1988, the department established the Reproductive Medicine Research Unit to serve the research needs for the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

By 2004, this infrastructure was expanded to provide support for the Divisions of Gynecologic Oncology and Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
