About the Division
The Division of Gynecologic Oncology and Advanced Pelvic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati leads the Tristate in its treatment of pre-cancerous and cancerous conditions of the female reproductive tract.
The goals of the division are:
- To provide patients with cutting-edge treatment of gynecologic pre-malignant and malignant conditions in a caring environment.
- To participate in national clinical trials.
- To educate medical students and residents.
The staff of three gynecologic oncology fellowship-trained, board certified or board eligible physicians at the UC Division of Gynecologic Oncology and Advanced Pelvic Surgery is devoted to providing exceptional, personalized care to every patient and her family.
The physicians’ advanced training in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology allows them to effectively diagnose and treat women with gynecologic cancers. Patients are able to receive advanced medical and surgical treatments unique to the UC division, such as minimally invasive surgery, da Vinci robotic/computer-assisted surgery, advanced pelvic surgery and clinical trials for all reproductive tract malignancies.
