Fellowship Program

Thank you for your interest in the Neuroradiology Fellowship Training Program at The University Hospital/University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. We currently offer a one year ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology fellowship to two individuals with training by our staff of five full-time and three part-time neuroradiologists. The CT equipment we use includes a GE Lightspeed multislice, Seimens spiral, Picker PQ 6000, and GE High Speed Advantage. We have two GE 1.5T MR scanners. In 1999, a Seimens Neurostar biplane neuroangiography suite was installed. A new Hitachi open MR suite is now functional, with interventional/operative outfitting. We perform approximately 75-100 interventional neuroradiologic procedures each year.

We are currently looking for a second fellow for the 2000-2001 year. If you would like to be considered for the 2000-2001 opening, please request an application and return it with your curriculum vitae and a small photo, if possible. We require three letters of recommendation, with one being from the chairperson of the department in which you have received your training. Please return the application as soon as possible for consideration for the 2000-2001 position, if this is the period you are interested in.

I am looking forward to hearing from you. Please do not hesitate to contact me by telephone at (513) 584-7544 or by fax at (513) 584-9100 if you have any questions or need additional information.

Sincerely,

Robert J Ernst, MD
