Pericallosal Aneurysm

Findings:
Axial CT images show predominantly interhemispheric subarachnoid hemorrhage with focal clot high in the anterior interhemispheric region. AP, lateral,  and oblique right common carotid arteriogram shows a saccular aneurysm at the bifurcation of ACA into pericallosal and callosomarginal arteries.

Discussion:
Aneurysms are relatively uncommon in the pericallosal artery, and etiologies such as trauma or mycotic aneurysm should be considered.
No predisposing etiology was found in this patient.
