Viewing Shockwave Movies

The Medware movies require the latest version of Macromedia Shockwave.  If you are using Internet Explorer 3.0 or above, you may ignore this paragraph because your browser will automatically check for and install the latest version of Shockwave when you open each movie.  If you are using Netscape Navigator, you may obtain Shockwave by clicking the button below and following the installation instructions.

You may view each movie online by clicking on the appropriate links.  Alternatively, you may download selected movies to run on your Windows machine. Some of the movies are quite large, so either running them directly over the network (i.e., from the library computing center) or downloading them to your hard drive for future use is recommended.  For best viewing, set your screen resolution to at least 800 x 600 with 16-bit (high) color.

Disclaimer

All the UCCOM software materials were created by students, for students. Not all of it was created in conjunction with the professors that teach the courses. Therefore, not everything may correspond with the course schedule or with the course materials (or at least what you are responsible for on the exams). So, if something doesn't seem correct, go back to the source -- your notes, your texts, and your professors. Check with them if you have a question.

If you happen to find one (or two, or three...), email Dr. Michael Lieberman with a description of the bug (e.g., what movie can't be run, what buttons are missing, what isn't working) and he will forward them to the appropriate person to fix the problem.
