The Office of Medical Education staffs and coordinates the activities of the curriculum committees.

The Education Policy Committee (EPC) is responsible for general oversight, coordination and management of the program of medical education. The specific goal of the EPC is to develop a medical student educational program consistent with the mission and goals of the College of Medicine. The EPC is chaired by the Associate Dean for Medical Education. The following committees, as well as several subcommittees and task forces report to the EPC:

The Office of Medical Education also has responsibility for developing and implementing interdisciplinary courses and longitudinal curriculum initiatives. Program coordinators in the office staff Clinical Foundations of Medical Practice 1 and Clinical Foundations of Medical Practice 2.
