Staff Research Associate in Systemic Iron Regulation

Two laboratory technician positions are available at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles under the direction of Elizabeta Nemeth, PhD and Tomas Ganz, PhD, MD. The projects in our laboratory focus on the discovery of molecules that regulate iron metabolism in health and disease. Skills in basic molecular biology techniques and cell culture are required. We will train qualified applicants in high throughput screening and transgenic mouse work. A willingness to learn these approaches is essential. Applications will be considered on an ongoing basis.
