FLEX FAQsApplicationApplications from qualified candidates will be considered for admission upon completion of the file. Required documents include the UC Graduate School Application (online), official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended, documentation of GRE scores, documentation of TOEFL scores if applicable, 2 letters of recommendation, and a statement of goals/purpose. You may also send a CV or resume, additional letters of recommendation, scientific papers, etc, if applicable. Letters of RecommendationAt this time there is no form on our website for letters of recommendation. Letters should be typed on letterhead and submitted to our office directly from the recommender. QualificationsWe noted the following Averages for students accepted into the Flex Option in 2007: Please note, a successful applicant who had a low score in one area would usually show higher scores in another. GPA: 3.6 Average (Range 3.0 – 4.0)
TOEFL - Minimum Allowable Scores: Your Contact InformationPlease keep us up to date on any changes in your contact information (email and mail addresses, phone numbers). InterviewsInterview Days are held in late January and early February. You will be notified by email. We try to make sure candidates visit in groups so that we can engage you in social activities with our graduate students and faculty. If you are not available on the interview dates given, an individual interview date may be arranged. AdmissionsAdmissions decisions are made shortly after interviews, after we receive comments and scores from our admissions committee. If selected, you may be notified by email and you will receive an official notification and offer letter in the mail. |
