The training program in Biostatistics is designed to provide students with an understanding of the mathematical underpinnings of statistical theory and the practical applications of statistical techniques. The Division of Epidemiology provides an interdisciplinary training environment to explore environmental, occupational, clinical, quantitative, community, molecular, and genetic epidemiology. Training in biostatistics covers basic and advanced methods of data analysis, including statistical genetics and bioinformatics.
