Why should I have my athlete seen by a dermatologist?
There are special treatments and specific preventive techniques that allow
athletes to continue playing their sports.
Many teams suffer from skin infections during the season. Wrestlers,
football players and baasketball players,just to name a few, are among the
many. Some of these skin infections will disqualify you from
participation. Dr. Adams has an expertise in the advanced research in
preventing and treating these skin infections in athletes. There are
specific guidelines prescribed by the NCAA and other athletic societies.
Dr. Adams can adeptly complete skin infection clearance forms for
participation in competitions. The duration of qualification is
complicated and strict guidelines exist.
