The University of Cincinnati Department of Dermatology provides full medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologic services for care of the skin and for the management of skin, hair and nail disorders. There are over 2000 different skin diseases, and dermatologists in the Department of Dermatology have the knowledge and expertise to recognize them and offer the best plan for management through medical, surgical and cosmetic therapies. In addition to general dermatologic care, specialized care for specific dermatologic disorders and diseases is offered through specialty treatment centers. Through University Dermatology Consultants, Inc., dermatologic care is provided in multiple different locations and settings including at the Medical Arts Building, Montgomery Medical Center, University Pointe, Northern Kentucky and at specialty diagnostic and treatment centers. Outpatient services are also provided through the Cincinnati’s STD/HIV Treatment and Prevention Training Center for patients with sexually transmitted diseases and/or human immunodeficiency virus infection. In addition, both inpatient and outpatient services are provided through University Hospital, Children’s Hospital and the VA Hospital.
