of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Dr. Diya
Mutasim was featured in the article “Histologic Findings are Essential in Diagnosing Bullous Diseases” in the June issue of Infectious
Disease News.
Dr. Debra Breneman was interviewed in June by
Liz Bonds for Channel 12, WKRC-TV in Cincinnati,
regarding acne treatment and her acne study.

Mutasim was interviewed in July for
an upcoming issue of Pathways, a newsletter for dermatology residents.
Dr. Brian
Adams appears as an extra in the movie Seabiscuit. A publicity photo for the film that appeared
in the Living Section of the July 17 edition of the Cincinnati Enquirer included Dr.
Adams.
Dr. Hugh Gloster was featured in the article “Surgical Complications”
in the August issue of Dermatology Times.
Dr. Diya Mutasim was
interviewed by Gretchen MacKnight of Channel 9,
WCPO-TV in Cincinnati, about
skin cancer, actinic keratosis, and our free skin
cancer screenings.

Cancer Screenings
The Department of Dermatology conducted free skin cancer
screenings on Friday, August 8th and Saturday, August 9th
at the MAB. Penny Coy and Elaine
Williams served as nursing staff for the event and participating physicians
included: Dr. Debra Breneman, Dr. Michelle Choucair, Dr. Hugh Gloster, Dr.
Charles Heaton, Dr. Diya Mutasim,
and Dr. Pranav
Sheth. All
of our residents participated. This event
was made possible by and educational grant from 3M Pharmaceuticals. An article publicizing the screenings
appeared in the July 27th issue of the Cincinnati Enquirer. In addition, Dr. Mutasim was interviewed by WCPO-TV,
Channel 9 for their early evening broadcast on August 5th. Channel 5 reporters interviewed two residents
and a patient for their August 8th early evening broadcast.
