Graduate Student Retreat

Each year, the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Program holds a retreat for students and faculty in the Program. The retreat usually is held on Veterans' Day in November. Each of the students in the third or later years gives a 20 minute oral presentation and discussion about his/her research. The presentations are followed by games and round table discussions of matters of practical interest to nascent Ph.D.s, e.g., grant writing, job opportunities, etc.
