Research Interests

The laboratory wants to understand how proliferation regulation in cancer cells and the stroma compartment is coordinated and consequently imparts in tumor progression and metastasis. The second research arm focuses on signaling mechanisms which leads to regulation of non-coding RNAs with important roles in breast cancer cells refractory to conventional therapeutic agents. The third arm of our research investigates how environmental toxins impact on obesity and metabolism through the signaling control linking cell proliferation and adipogenesis.
