There will be an all-university kick-off celebration on Thursday evening, May 15th, at the Kingsgate Marriott. This event is open to all alumni and their spouses/guests. On Friday morning the College of Medicine will begin the day with a continental breakfast at the Kingsgate Marriott. We will then be treated to a College update by our Dean, led on tours of the College and new CARE/Crawley Building, returning for a buffet lunch at Kingsgate. Friday afternoon will be the opportunity to gain some CME credits during our Scientific Session–coordinated by the Internal Medicine-Division of Cardiology. Friday evening will be reserved for individual class celebrations around town. Each class representative will plan and organize their party, so look for communications from them very soon. |
Saturday, May 17th will begin at the Kingsgate Marriott once again with breakfast. Afterwards, we will embark upon a bus drive around campus and extensive tour in the various departments at Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The afternoon will feature a guest speaker and buffet lunch of Cincinnati’s famous Skyline Chili and Graeter’s Ice Cream. The evening will culminate downtown with a formal banquet in the Hall of Mirrors at the elegant, historic Hilton Netherland Plaza. (Transportation will be provided to and from the Kingsgate Marriott.) At the banquet winners of the Distinguished Alumni Award will be honored, as well as the Golden and Silver classes. We will also take formal class group photos that you will be able to take home that evening! |
