Department of Dermatology Basic Sciences and Clinical Research Centers
The Department of Dermatology has active investigative programs in both basic science dermatologic research and clinical dermatologic research, as well as a biostatistics and epidemiology section. Principal investigators in the Basic Science Research Program are Zalfa A. Abdel-Malek, Ph.D., Raymond E. Boissy, Ph.D., and Ana Luisa Kadekaro, Ph.D. The Dermatology Clinical Research Center is under the direction of Debra L. Breneman, M.D., C.C.R.I., and Pranav B. Sheth, M.D. The Biostatistics and Epidemiology Section is headed by Brian Adams, M.D., M.P.H.
